The directors assist the Executive Director in creating MTI and its processes, as well as helping MTI respond and/or develop research/planning/policy opportunities through MTI. The directors also: champion their faculty for team selection, are the go to person on their campuses, lead their universities involvement, champion MTI on their campuses and ensure accountability for their facult

Mr. Charles J. Nemmers, P.E. is the Director of the Transportation Infrastructure Center at the University of Missouri-Columbia, a position he has held since early 1999.
